
We were proud to win the Employer of Choice award at the 10th Albury Wodonga Business Awards, which were attended by about 380 people at The Cube, in Wodonga, on Friday 14 July.
Our chairperson Sandra Dalton and CEO Corienne Krich accepted the award, which was sponsored by 2AY 1494 and presented by the station’s general manager Andrew Harrison.
Sandra congratulated all the nominees, thanked 2AY for sponsoring the award, the judges and Business Wodonga and Albury Northside Chamber of Commerce.
“Thank you to the 132 staff who make Junction a great place to work,” she said.
“Our CEO Corienne Krich has also been there since the start leading our work to support some of the most disadvantaged people in our community.”
A not-for-profit organisation established in 1989, we work with families and individuals to support them to achieve their full potential. We run more than 20 programs across north-east Victoria, including homelessness support, a youth refuge, counselling for children who have experienced trauma such as family violence, an L2P driving program for young people who do not have anyone to teach them to drive and Leaving Care mentoring to support young people moving from Out of Home Care to independent living.
