Family Violence Practice Lead – Victims Assistance Program (Wodonga, Wangaratta or Shepparton)

We are seeking a passionate, motivated and supportive individual to fill the specialist role of Family Violence Practice Lead in the Victims Assistance Program (VAP).   The aim of the VAP is to assist victim-survivors by providing an accessible service where clients are listened to, informed, and empowered in their pathway to recovery.

As the Family Violence Practice lead, you will respond to those that have experienced violent crime against the person, qualifying them for the Victims Assistance Program. They might be a primary, secondary or related Victim-Survivor. The program is developed to assist clients with any support needs that have arisen as a result of the crime. You will be providing your clients with information, assist them through any police or justice system processes, refer to other services and respond with any other actions as required.
