Homelessness doesn’t just happen between 9am and 5pm.

To support people experiencing homelessness after dark when our office is closed, we’ve installed an intercom at the front door of our office at 9/155 Melbourne Rd, Wodonga.

People needing support after hours can press # and 1 on the intercom to be connected to an after hours homelessness help line.

The after hours helpline is operated by the Salvation Army Crisis Service. (The direct phone number is 1800 955 825.)

Our office remains open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for people in crisis situations.

Under COVID-19 restrictions, for anything other than crisis situations:

– All appointments will be by phone or video link rather than face-to-face meetings

– There will be no home visits unless it is to deliver emergency relief

Our work is being guided by our COVID-19 Response Team so we can continue supporting people in need.
