Our Young Mums Unit (YUMS) is a safe place in the Wodonga area where we support pregnant women and new mothers between the ages of 15 and 25 who have been homeless, are at risk of homelessness or are in need of intensive support.

YUMS is a safe place for young mothers to bond with their babies and be supported. We provide a positive environment and work with the young parents on parenting skills, life skills and help them take steps towards independent living.

The property is owned by Rural Housing and can house two young mums and their children. Each family has their own bedroom and bathroom and they share a communal kitchen, family room and backyard.
