Junction Support Services recently welcomed the Victorian Social Services Regulator, Jonathan Kaplan, and Executive Director of Safeguarding and Regulation, Bella Stagoll, for an informal visit to learn more about Junction’s work with children, young people, adults and families in our region.

The friendly visit formed part of the Regulator’s ongoing role across the state, with a focus on understanding how regional organisations deliver safe, high‑quality support to all people who access social services.

The visit included a tour of Junction’s dedicated youth space Windbreak3690, where the Executive Team shared how the youth space supports connection, safety and early intervention.

They also heard about our social enterprise, Close Collective Café.

The visitors then toured the Wodonga Education First Youth Foyer, meeting staff and students and gaining insight into how the Foyer model combines stable housing with education, coaching and community to help young people thrive.

Junction CEO Megan Hanley said the visit was a welcome opportunity to demonstrate the organisation’s commitment to safety, individual rights and strong practice.
