Thanks to all who attended our Career Information Nights

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent Career Information Nights in Wodonga and Wangaratta.
The information sessions were held for people to find out about joining our team that supports young people who reside with us in Out of Home Care because they are unable to live with their families or in foster care.
It’s not too late to find out about a career that will make a difference.
Because of the growing need for care and internal promotion, recruiting is ongoing for Residential Carers to support young people.
The qualifications required are a Certificate IV in Youth Work, welfare, disability, community services or similar.
Certificate IV studies are available at Wodonga TAFE, which offers some free courses to eligible students, and Albury TAFE.
Our Continued Care Manager, Annie Shirley, said working with young people was rewarding and the qualifications required were able to be obtained locally.
“When I joined Junction 13 years ago it was because of the opportunity to work with young people in Out of Home Care,” Annie says.
“Our team is committed to supporting these young people to achieve their potential and to offering them a life that is full of hope and optimism.”
If you want a career that makes a difference, you can register your interest for future career information nights events or information by emailing recruitment@site.site.junction.org.au or calling Ginny on 02 6043 7442
Or you can drop into our office at 9/155 Melbourne Road, Wodonga, and collect a “Working with us” brochure to find out more.
