Are you passionate about working with young people? Do you have case management experience? Our Navigator Program is seeking a new team member to support young people to re-engage in education.

Our Navigator Program, which supports young people across the Ovens Murray region (Wodonga to Mansfield), to re-engage in education, training or work is recruiting for a new case manager.

We’re seeking someone who has:

– A relevant tertiary qualification such as a Diploma in Community Services, Youth or a relevant degree

– Case management experience

– Understands the barriers to education and can assist in overcoming those barriers

– Is passionate about working with young people

Our Specialist Adolescent Services manager Rachel Habgood said that when young people disengage from school and stop attending the consequences can be life-long, harming their job prospects, self-esteem and life skills.

“Our Navigator team has had great success supporting young people and, because of internal promotion, we need someone new to join the team,” she said.

Navigator Case Manager Adam said it was satisfying to support a disengaged young person to re-engage with training or education that works for them.

“I’ve seen the Navigator program change lives and that’s a great thing to be part of,” he said.

The Navigator Program was launched in 2016 as a pilot program in several regions. It was recently refunded by the Victorian Government to the tune of $44million so it can be implemented statewide.
